Language Pacifica Course Description Full-Time Programs (I-20 Required) Course 25: Language Pacifica’s standard full-time Intensive English Program consists of five 50-minute classes per day and is the choice of most students studying with the school’s I-20 on a Student Visa (F-1). Classes one through four are Speaking & Listening, Reading & Vocabulary, Grammar, and Writing. The fifth class is chosen from one of the following: Directed Discussion, Business English, or TOEFL Preparation (PBT or iBT). Course 25+5: Language Pacifica’s most intensive program combines Course 25 described above plus one private lesson per day. Students in this program want to add a particular area of study to the standard course, for example Business Topics or Specialized Vocabulary. Course 20+5: Language Pacifica’s third full-time option, this course consists of the first four classes of the standard program plus one private lesson each day. Part-Time Programs (I-20 Not Issued) Course 20: Language Pacifica’s most popular part-time program, consisting of four 50-minute classes: Speaking & Listening, Reading & Vocabulary, Grammar, and Writing. This course does not require a student visa and is ideal for individuals in the U.S. on a Tourist Visa (B1 or B2) or a Visa Waiver. Course 15: For a student wanting fewer classes that Course 20 above, it allows the student to study three 50-minute classes per day. Course 10: Language Pacifica’s program for students desiring only two 50-minutes classes per day. Course 5: One 50-Minute class per day.
