Language Pacifica endeavors to provide the highest quality Intensive English Program to non-native speakers of English. Our objective is to prepare our students for success in college, the workplace, and daily life in English-speaking environments. In addition to English instruction, Language Pacifica seeks to help facilitate the integration of individuals new to America into our society through an emphasis on cross-cultural awareness in our programs. Our goal is to create a humanistic, invigorating, and creative environment in which to study the English language and American culture.		Language Pacifica started in 1979 as a 2-classroom school. Today we average over 100 full-time students per month, and occupy our own, modern building in addition to classrooms on the campus of Menlo College. We offer six levels of English education, as well as Business English instruction, TOEFL preparation (PBT and iBT) , and a wide variety of activities and services. Although our student population has steadily grown, our average class still has fewer than 10 students. Our focus remains on providing outstanding English education to each and every one of our students.
